You may wonder what the NoLita Art Walk is about. I hadn't heard about the event before either... So I'd like to tell you about it here. They said...
"To coincide with St. Patrick's Old Cathedrals huge 200th Anniversary Celebration on June 7,

we are organizing Fragment: Art in the Park & The Nolita Art Walk in conjunction with Action Arts League. You can be part of the fun and increase pedestrian traffic to your business by hosting art in your business or just listing the art you already have in your business in the Art Walk Map.

Fragment is a two-pronged, two day event in NOLITA

that will offer visitors and neighbors alike both Art in the Park (Desalvio Playground)

and a Map Guided Nolita Art Walk through local galleries and participating businesses.

June 6th through 7th at Desalvio Playground in beautiful Nolita.

It’s not just the art – it’s the context! Art pieces and performance art by NYC artists will be featured in local shops, Laundromats, restaurants – you name it -- all around the neighborhood."
It was a great event to be with :)
